Andrea has gained more than 25 years of professional experience in the Insurance Industry. She joined Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Latin America in 2012 and currently is leading the Innovative Risk Solutions team for Latin America. Prior to joining Swiss Re, Andrea held senior roles at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and ERGO in Germany. Andrea began her Swiss Re career in Zurich in 2008 in Property Underwriting for EMEA markets. Then she worked in Sao Paulo, Brasil, where she supported the establishment and expansion of Property line of business for Brasil and later she moved to Miami for her expanded Senior Property Underwriting role for Latin America. As of October 2017, Andrea took on responsibility of setting up a team to promote Innovative Risk Solutions in Latin America, which she is currently leading and expanding. Andrea is a Certified Insurance Professional and had graduated with Master of Business Administration (University of Applied Sciences Hamburg), Executive Master of Financial Services and Insurance (Universities St. Gallen/ Vlerick/ HEC Montreal), Associate in Reinsurance (The Institutes), and Associate in Captive Insurance (ICCIE).
